 Gigi and Rocky DiGiacomo DiGiacomo Homes & Renovation is a design-build company located in Minnetonka, MN. As husband-wife team we’ve managed the company for more than 20 years bringing together the skills and services of site location, architectural design, energy planning, interior design, project construction under one roof. Our mission is to help clients remain in, or move to, beloved Twin Cities’ neighborhoods such as Tyrol Hills, South Harriet Park, Cottagewood, and Linden Hills. Many families who wish to put down roots in these charming neighborhoods struggle to find “just the right home” amidst housing stock built for a by-gone era. As a solution to cramped compartmentalized floor plans, insufficient storage, outdated utility systems, and age-in-place design needs, many families are choosing to undertake major renovations and, increasingly, to build new. Renovating and building in existing neighborhoods brings unique opportunities and challenges. Neighborhood aesthetics, renewable energy rebates/tax credits, municipal requirements, narrow lot sizes, and a complex real estate market are just a few of the issues that must be considered to insure that the value of an urban remodel/build will stand the test of time.
