APRIL 24-24: Green Features Meet Craftsman Detailing In This Budget-Friendly Bryn Mawr Remodel

Bryn Mawr homeowners, Paul and Kristin Markert, are graciously opening their doors this spring during the Minneapolis-St. Paul Home Tour to share their newly remodeled kithen, dining room, lower level family/theater room, bathroom, and laundry area. 

Like so many Minneapolis families, the Markert’s remodeling priorities included the creation of more liveable space, room to entertain, and functional storage without adding square footage.  At the same time, Paul and Kristin requested that the remodel introduce green efficiencies, address mold and mildew issues in the lower level, and restore the Craftsman-era detailing that had once graced their home prior to a few 1970s “updates.”  Come see how the Markert family added customized living space (without adding square footage) to their charming 1930 Bungalow and stayed within their $175,000 budget.
